We booked Heather Cottage for our family stay in Aberdeen. It was great that they allowed dogs, which was the main reason we chose it. The decor was homely and the kitchen had plenty of utensils for cooking. The open plan living space was perfect for spending time together. The beds were really comfortable and the welcome gift was a nice touch. The photos don't do justice to the lovely lawned garden at the back of the house.

There was a strong smell of smoke when we arrived and the kitchen facilities were in need of replacement. The mattresses in the bedrooms were soft and uncomfortable.

The overall cleanliness of the property leaves something to be desired. the windows are dirty, and the bed linens and towels appear worn and crumpled.

The beds were comfortable, and having a washer and dryer was handy. The location was superb, with easy access to bus routes and beautiful riverside walks. On-street parking was convenient, and the owners provided great communication with lots of helpful information. The back garden would be a fantastic place to relax in warmer weather.

We recently stayed at a lovely cottage that was very welcoming and clean. It provided plenty of space for the 6 of us. the location was ideal, just a couple of miles from the city centre and a 5-minute walk from Asda. We were thrilled to find a Harvester pub conveniently located across the road. the cottage had fantastic facilities and comfortable beds, making our stay truly enjoyable. Our host was helpful and always available when needed. We would definitely book to stay at Heather Cottage again!
